MATTEO DI SANTE

Matteo is a final-year MSc student in Physics of Complex Systems at the University of Pisa, where he also obtained his BSc in Physics. He is currently studying free-flight soaring as an anomalous transport problem: what makes the transport anomalous, and whether a microscopic model can reproduce the empirical trajectories. He is also interested in the differences between solo and group flight, and in how the spatial distribution of thermals shapes optimal flight.
